When Satnam graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1970 with a diploma in Chemical and Metallurgical Technology, real estate was the furthest thing on his mind. Satnam is a Realtor© with RE/MAX Crest Realty in North Vancouver and a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. He has been active in real estate since 1979. He is also designated Agent 9.15 which allows him to manage a real estate office. He spent nine years in real estate office management, but he is the first to admit he loves the industry and enjoys the people he has helped his clients buy and sell homes with over the years. Most of his business comes from referrals from past clients, repeat clients and friends. He has also has had a distinguished career within the real estate industry. A capsule history is as follows:

Since being elected to the CREA Board of Directors in 1993, he has chaired a number of CREA's committees: The MLS® Research & Technology, MLS®Trademarks & Marketing, National Conference, Strategic Communications and Finance as well as serving on numerous other committees and task forces.

Previously, he was a director of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and served as their president in 1992 where he chaired most of that boards committees, he was also a director with the British Columbia Real Estate Association from 1988 to 1994. And chaired several provincial committees including: Education, Arbitration and Communications.

Satnam has been recognized for his contributions to the real estate industry. One award he is especillay proud of is his Special Service Award from RE/MAX of Western Canada, presented to him in 2001 for his work within the industry with his peers.

On a Personal Note

A North Shore resident since 1978, Satnam and his wife raised a son and a daughter here. As well as being a volunteering with the Big Brothers of Vancouver as a Big Brother and Director for eight years, he has been a volunteer with the Boys Club of Canada and a Leader with the the Beavers. In his spare time Satnam loves to golf, watch hockey, and camp with his family.
